There's nothing wrong these scarves by any means. My own error was assuming "Flaxen" meant linen and being in such a hurry coming up with no reasonable options, just went for it. They are extremely soft and yes definitely lightweight, pretty see-through even on the black...as I was assuming they were linen material, I expected a little more weight and structure which is what I'm really needing. So unfortunately these do not work for me. And I do not wear polyesters at all, so I'm feeling pretty disappointed just now going back to read description after receiving them. But that is truly my own error! Reminder to be thorough and careful in your purchases :)
